Vanilla Extract
Ingredients
- 28 grams vanilla beans
- 1 c vodka
Instructions
- Cup beans lengthwise. Scrape out the caviar. Chop the skins into pieces 1" or shorter. Sterilize the bottle. Fill with skins and caviar. Fill with vodka. Shake.
- Week 1--shake daily.
- Weeks 2-4--shake a few times a week.
- Week 5--usable.
- Months 2-6--shake when you feel like it.
- Filter extract and re-bottle.
